JM Financial Foundation has been registered in 2001. With the objective of supporting education and health of underprivileged children, the Foundation has worked on several outreach projects to support the cause. JM Financial Foundation has done extensive work during the Bhuj earthquake and Tsunami disaster amongst others.

JM Financial Walkathon 2006:

To reinforce its commitment to the society, JM Financial, held its fourth annual Walkathon 2006 on September 24, in aid of the JM Financial Foundation. The Walkathon, a fund raising initiative was undertaken to support the cause of several underprivileged children.

Mr. Nimesh Kampani, Chairman, JM Financial, flagged off the Walkathon which received overwhelming response from hundreds of people including JM Financial employees, corporates as well as several enthusiastic citizens. The participants walked a distance of six kms of Marine Drive, Mumbai starting from NCPA Apartments to Mafatlal Bath and back.

Children from different NGOs also walked with us to support their cause. Funds that have been raised during the Walkathon will be used to support various projects by NGOs like Nanhi Kali, Sunbeam and Round Table India, which focus on education of the underprivileged children.

The Walkathon reiterates the firm’s commitment to invest in initiatives that fortify communities around the country making them stronger and vital.
